Any recommendations of gardens or nurseries to visit on a 2022 summer road trip between Portland and the Bay Area (or possibly further South to LA)?

Likely hugging the coast, but inland recommendations also welcome. Oregon recommendations also welcome, though I've already got the Willamette Valley recommendations from Lois Moss's excellent google map.

Annie's Annuals in Richmond.It's between 101 and 80 so not far whichever route you take.If coming down 101 you take the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge across the bay.

My favorite guide is the California Garden Tour by Donald Olson 2017. Favorite Botanical Gardens--Sonoma Botanical (our Winter
Program subject), UC Botanical Garden at Berkley, UC Santa Cruz Botanical Garden. Estates--Fioli in Woodside and Huntington Library, Art, Museum and Garden in Pasadena. Both Getty Museums, one in downtown LA and the Villa in Malibu. Nursery-- Terra Sol Garden Center off 101 between Santa Barbara and Goleta. Favorite of all time--Sherman Library and Gardens in Corona del Mar.

Thank you, both!

I visited Annie's last August and it was great. Their display gardens were a bit smaller than I'd hoped, but still lovely.

I've just purchased the California Garden Tour book and will look into your other suggestions, Ginny. Thanks, again!
