Several years ago, I read an article (I cannot find now) and went to this mans home nursery southeast of Portland. He wrote at least one article (that I found through some HPSO link) had published, and is now growing dwarf conifers on a hillside. Single person operation and lovely person! I am ready to buy something from him but I have lost my note and can't remember...Any ideas? Not about my missing memory of course, and lost note papers, but I want to buy plants from him. If you know name and phone number so I can begin my conifer shopping....

I found him! Oregon Small Trees Nursery. DAVID LECKEY. Has a Facebook page too, but can't seem to reach the website. No posts for a couple years. Any one know if this place is still open?

His last Instagram post is 2020, so not sure if he’s still active. You might check with Norm Jacobs at Arbutus Garden Arts. He has a small nursery in SE portland with many conifers and may be able to help you..He’s a Conifer Society member and may know Mr Leckey. Norms HPSO contact email is [email protected]. Good luck!

Thank you Michael! Great idea and I will contact Norm Jacobs at Arbutus. I did hear back from David Ledkey and he is open by appointment. All good.
