Eucomis Pineapple Lily. Guides say to take them up each winter and protect from frost. Does everyone do that? I'm in SW Portland, about 500 ft. elevation. I just took them out of a pot where they'd been for years, haven't had a flower in forever. I separated 4 bunches and hope in full/part sun in the garden they might flower again.

My neighbor has some Eucomis and she never does anything with it. Nevertheless, it persists!! We're in inner SE. Good luck

I leave mine in the ground over winter with no protection. They multiple like crazy too. I will be thinning and offering up many of the little pupped bulbs. I grow 4 different varieties 3 treat them all the same. Grown in loamy soil with average drainage.
